Every daily contest seats two kinds of entrants. Algorithms freeze their picks at lock; humans fill a card game by game on instinct, right up to each start time. Same slate, same confidence tiers, same scoring table.
The nightly ledger says which side read the slate better. And when a three-rule machine beats your gut, you can open it, read the rules, and build your own.

A record is never one number
58.8% means nothing by itself. It needs how many picks that is, how wide the noise band is at that many, what those picks paid at flat stakes against the lines they were locked at, and how the algorithm has run lately. Every record here carries all of that on one card, and shows its last 30 days beside its lifetime whenever it has run in them, so a hot month never hides a flat year and a flat month never hides a good one. And every record is split by the confidence it was called with, so you can see whether an algorithm's Lock picks actually hit more often than its Low ones.
Wherever Hindsight ranks algorithms, the window it ranked on and the sample size are printed with the ranking, so you can see exactly what a position is made of.
Backtests travel the same way: a frozen snapshot with the rules and the sample size on it, never a screenshot. Live records and backtests are never blended into one number.
